The short version
We save your email if you join the early-access list and use limited website analytics to understand how the page is used. Joining the list sends no confirmation or welcome email. We don’t sell your data, show ads, or track you across other websites. You can ask us to remove your email at any time.
1. Overview
This policy covers the Skelivo website at skelivo.com and its early-access signup form. Skelivo is responsible for the collection described here. You can reach us at support@skelivo.com.
The website previews a learning product in development. The learning conversations and progress screens shown on the page are demonstrations. This site does not create learning accounts, store your study conversations, or process payments.
2. What we collect
Early-access signup
Your email address, together with signup records such as the submission date and form used. Brevo processes the form and stores the list. Joining is optional; you can browse without giving us your email.
Website analytics
Umami records page visits, the referring website, campaign tags in links, and basic browser, device, language, and approximate location information. We also count which sections enter view as you scroll, when the signup popup opens, and when a signup succeeds or fails. Each section is counted once per page visit; this indicates how far visitors reach, not whether they read the content.
We do not send your email or form contents to Umami, use session recordings, or attach an account identifier to analytics. We remove URL fragments and query parameters other than selected campaign tags before sending page addresses to Umami.
Technical requests and messages
Services that deliver the page, fonts, and signup form receive connection information such as your IP address and browser headers. If you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
We do not request precise location, contacts, photos, payment details, or information from other apps on your device.
3. How we use it
- Maintaining the list: to record your interest in Skelivo early access. Signup currently only saves your email; it does not trigger a confirmation, welcome message, or marketing campaign.
- Improving the website: to understand visits and whether the signup form works.
- Support and security: to answer your requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on your consent to keep your email on the early-access list. We rely on legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the website for limited analytics and support, and on legal obligations where required. We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Storage & retention
Brevo stores the early-access list in the European Union. Our Umami Cloud analytics project uses the EU data region.
We keep your email while the early-access list is needed, until you ask to leave, or until we close the list. We retain analytics only while useful for evaluating website performance and signup trends, within our provider’s retention limits. Support messages are kept while needed to resolve your request and handle any related dispute or legal obligation.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or retain only information that no longer identifies you. Providers may keep limited backup or security records under their own retention schedules.
5. Sharing & third parties
These services help provide the website:
- Brevo — signup processing and email-list storage. Brevo privacy policy.
- Umami — website analytics. Umami privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — fonts loaded by your browser, which sends Google connection information when requesting them. Google privacy policy.
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery. Vercel privacy policy.
- Namecheap and Microsoft Outlook — forwarding and receiving messages sent to our support address. Namecheap privacy policy and Microsoft privacy statement.
Hosting and network services also process requests needed to deliver and protect the website. Providers may process some technical or support data outside your country, including in the United States. Their privacy notices describe their locations and transfer arrangements; EU storage does not mean every service operation stays in the EU.
We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect the service against abuse. We do not sell or share your data for targeted advertising.
6. Your choices & rights
Email support@skelivo.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your signup information, or to withdraw consent and leave the list. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may also have rights to restrict processing or receive a portable copy of your data. We may need to verify that a request comes from the person whose data it concerns.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including website analytics. Our Umami integration also respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting.
Umami analytics does not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can browse without joining the list.
You can raise a concern with your local data protection authority. In the UK, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
7. Security
Signup submissions use encrypted HTTPS connections to Brevo. We limit access to personal information to the people and services that need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If a breach requires notification under applicable law, we will notify the relevant authority and affected people as required.
8. Children
This early-access website is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted an email address, contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as Skelivo evolves and change the date at the top. If the product introduces accounts, learning data, or other new uses of personal information, we will explain those uses before collecting that data and obtain consent where required.
10. Contact
